About the race The Van Isle 360 International Yacht Race is a 580 nautical mile circumnavigation of Vancouver Island, off Canada's west coast. The racing feet includes some of the fastest racing yachts in the Pacifc Northwest, and a handicap racing system and separate divisions make it possible for a variety of boats to take part. The 10 legs range from 22 to 138 nautical miles, and the small, remote ports racers face along the race limits the feet to 42 boats. The next race is slated for June 6 to June 21, 2015.
